A podcast is defined by wikipedia.org as "a collection of digital media files which is distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds for playback on portable media players and personal computers."
[top]
You can listen to the podcast by either streaming it directly from the site, by downloading it to your computer and playing it in your computer's media player, or by putting in on a portable mp3 player.
[top]
You can subscribe to the podcast by clicking on a link to your favorite podcatcher. Those links are located at the top right of each page.
[top]
When you subscribe to the podcast, your podcatcher will automatically "catch" the podcast feed each time a new podcast is published. It will generally start the download the next time you open your podcatching software.
[top]
A podcatcher is a software program that automatically downloads a podcast to your computer once you have subscribed to the podcast. A popular example of a podcatcher is iTunes© although there are many others.
[top]
No, you certainly do not. iTunes© is Apple's podcatcher and iPod© is Apple's mp3 player. They are brands not technologies.

I generally publish podcasts every Wednesday.

If you would like to direct me to a sample of your music, I will certainly listen to it. I am always looking for new bands to get into. I cannot make any guarantess, however. Please do not send me huge files, just point me to your music. Thanks.

I do not. I make no money from the site nor the podcast. I do it as a hobby and it costs me money to do so.
