Download FAQ

This FAQ is intended to answer any questions you may have in regards to downloading music from DrewFioravanti.com Live Music Podcast. I strongly recommend you visit etree.org and read their extensive FAQ in regards to converting various music files. In addition, it covers many aspects of downloading BitTorrents so that you may download msuic on your own. That is a much faster process than downloading from this site. If it does not answer your questions, please leave a comment as I am sure that if you have questions, others have the same ones.

Thanks,

Drew

What is the difference between a .flac file, a .shn file and a .mp3 file?

The main differences between these files is that .flac files and .shn files are data files and .mp3 files are audio files. .flac and .shn are considered "lossless" files that keep the integrity of the original audio file. You do not lose any sound quality. .mp3 files are considred "lossy". .flac files and .shn files must first be converted into an audio format before you can play them. Once again, I strongly recommend you visit the etree.org FAQ to better understand this process.
